Actress Scarlett Johansson has signed on for the upcoming film THE PSYCHOPATH TEST based on the book of the same name. The story is described as follows: “What if society wasn’t fundamentally rational, but was motivated by insanity? This thought sets Jon Ronson on an utterly compelling adventure into the world of madness. Along the way, Jon meets psychopaths, those whose lives have been touched by madness and those whose job it is to diagnose it, including the influential psychologist who developed the Psychopath Test, from whom Jon learns the art of psychopath-spotting. A skill which seemingly reveals that madness could indeed be at the heart of everything

Andrew Galley says:

I’m rereading the book now as Jon Ronson is my favourite author and he’s
attending a local booksigning in my city in March. The book… it’s good
and it’s cynical about the madness industry but I’m curious as to how it
would be as a film. As much as I disagree with Campea on a lot of things, I
give him credit for not offering an opinion on something he’s uneducated
on. Kristian I know what you meant… but “it could be crazy, or it could
be a stinkbomb” is something you could say about any film. If you don’t
know what to say about something, don’t speak.

This will be kind of like “Thank You For Smoking.” If I am not mistaken
this was a nonfiction book. There will be some artistic license with it.

Ziyaad Samodien says:

So basically rational people in irrational situations… horror has done
that to the bone already.
